The Winery

Bodega Hemsy is a venture that carries the family name and began in the year 2007.
The farm is located in Chimpa, 9 km. Before reaching Cafayate, at 1812 MTS. High above sea level, with the first crops of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Torrontés.
In the year 2010 the construction of the winery began and the same year began the elaboration of the aforementioned vines.
The crops of other varietals that adapt very well to the area like the Cabernet Franc and the Petit Verdot, will be the next novelties with which the firm counts.
The cultivation of the vineyards is totally organic, the conditions of the climate and the use of earthworm Humus elaborated in the farm, allow it.
The product has the latest technology obtaining a wine of excellent acceptance in its presentation 2012 that went on the market with Maca TOQUI.
TOQUI refers to the Andean God, as well as the rounded axe that signifies the power of the chieftain in front of his tribe. The logo is stamped on the label.

The Vineyards
